Our four speakers are from Bike World, Danfoss, Mainstreet Cafe, and Ventura Foods.

Justin Sheldon (Bike World) has been with Bike World for 23 years.  He has done nearly every role in the business over the years.  Currently he is  the General Manager (2012-pres) and the company buyer (2002-pres).  He is responsible for getting inventory  to the store when it's needed as well as staying  on top of trends or wild events like this year.  He has seen many cycles over the years and has seen some of Bike World's best years in business when bad things happen to/with the economy.

Eric Wooster (Danfoss) is a Supply Chain Team Leader for Danfoss Power Solutions in Ames.  He grew up in Central Iowa and attended Iowa State University.  Previously he worked for BASF in Malcom, IA for 15 years in various roles in Operations, Quality and Supply Chain.   He moved to Danfoss in May of 2019, and has been the team leader for the Tactical Buyers at the 13th Street Ames facility since then. He is married and has a daughter.

Ryan McCauley (Mainstreet Cafe) is a Supply chain and logistics alum from Iowa State University.  He graduated in 2010.  After graduation he worked for 3M in the optimized operations program.  After about 4 years he then went to work for an Ag Chemical manufacturer– Albaugh LLC.  At Albaugh he worked in procurement, supply chain, and finance, focusing on a global perspective vs. plant level.  In 2017 his wife and he decided to start the buyout of his in-laws restaurant in Ankeny.  In 2018 they opened up their second location in downtown Des Moines.  Ryan is a former APICS member and also received his MBA from the University of Iowa (he only claims to be an ISU Alum – go Clones!)  At home, he and his wife Brooke have twin girls that will be 3 in February, Stella and Monroe, as well as their hound dog Wilbur.

Doug Little (Ventura Foods) has been in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) for over 30 years.  He has worked with Keebler, Kraft, ConAgra, and now Ventura Foods.  Over the years he has worked in Marketing, Trade, Operations, and Category Management and Insights.  Usually he works across all retailers but has spent some time focused on Walmart and Sam’s Club.  Most of his time has been in Category Management where he uses data to help retailers with the best mix possible on shelf.  The end goal being to grow both the category and our brands.

APICs Central Iowa is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
